“If moths don’t like light, why do they always fly toward light bulbs?”

“Well … before we had electricity, moths would use the moon to navigate. And they still do. The artificial light confuses them. They go round and round in circles.”

“Like maniacs?”

“Yeah, like little winged maniacs.”

“And that’s why they don’t come out during the day? Because they don’t like the light?”

“Correct. They hate the light.”

“Makes sense then.”

“What does?”

“Nothing.”
